SHE WAS NEVER SATISFIED PT1

The old lady is never satisfied. Every night she shows up angry at the disorder and chaos in the room. Although she continuously lectures me, I can't remember her ever uttering an actual word. Everything it seems is simply understood. She is unhappy with the mess. She stands there angrily in the attic, and I always stand there listening. She never leaves the spot that she's standing in. It's not just the attic that's run down and filthy, the whole house it seems is nothing but a shack. I am never actually outside in the beginning to see its original appearance, but I know. I start cleaning the attic, and she may or may not have left. I instinctively know what to do, and as I clean I realize that their are secret windows under the layers of dust and dirt in the attic, and the more I clean, the more windows are revealed throughout the house. People live in these windows, they're portals to their homes, and whoever is narrating to me, what going on is telling me about the life of each individual revealed. They don't seem to notice, they're usually vacuuming, talking on the phone-doing normal domestic things. The cleaning always begins in the attic, and seems to end either in the basement. or on the ground floor. When I am done cleaning, the old woman always seems content even though no words are exchanged. Sometimes when I'm leaving the house-I remember vividly back in 2006/2007, the house would be brand new, almost glistening when I left after the days cleaning. There was s beautiful mansion instead of the shack that I'd arrived to. Once there were kids in the house, and in the yard and the old lady/narrator would explain that things were now good. Everything because of the cleaning would be better. The next night when we returned, it was the same filthy shack again.
